SUNDAYS FOR KIDS
Our children's ministry is a highlight at St Tom's. At our 10:30am services and 2pm we have special kids ministry section during the service and then children go to age appropriate Sunday clubs.
TEENEE TOMS
Our crèche
Children from newborns to three years are VIP’s at St Toms. Under 3s are welcome to stay with their parents during worship, or join Teenee Toms in the creche. The service can be heard here.
The creche is very comfortable with heating and cooling, couches, floor toys, small tables and chairs for puzzles and play dough. We also enjoy fruit together (especially water melon), and may sing a song or two, and glue things.
TINY TOMS
3 -5 year olds
Tiny Toms is church for 3 to 5 year olds in the RED ROOM. We like to sing, hear a Bible story, make something creative, and play a game in the courtyard.
TIM TOMS
Prep - Grade 2
Tim Toms is church for Prep-Grade 2. We start with singing in the RED ROOM, move to a MEETING ROOM to hear a Bible story, play a game, and make something cool to remind us of the story.
CHOC TOMS
Grade 3 - 6
Choc Toms is church for Grades 3-6. We get to meet in the HALL. We often read from the Bible ourselves, and talk about what it means for kids our age. We like to draw, cook, and there’s plenty of room to play games in the basketball court.
MESSY CHURCH
One Sunday per term
Messy Church happens once a term. It’s an interactive way of doing church, to help us experience God. A fabulous morning tea is served in our large Worship space, where there are crafts to make, cooking, board games, or you can write a prayer, color in, or just sit and enjoy the hum. Each activity is chosen for a reason, and contributes to a story or theme from the Bible. Messy Church is a chance to ‘bring-a-friend’ who may not have experienced God.
